Park Review: Robinson Park, American Fork, UT

Robinson Park is a gorgeous tree filled park located at 100 E Main St. in American Fork, UT.  My kids normally call it the Library Park since the American Fork Public Library is on the same property.

Robinson Park is in the center of American Fork and is used for various events throughout the year including  the Steel Days Carnival and the Happy Valley Farmers Market.  It is also the home to one of the satellite museums for the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Organization.  Follow the links to receive up to date information if any of those are of interest to you.

The playground equipment can be shaded or partially shaded depending on the time of day.  I didn’t see any signs warning of the equipment being hot but it is always good to keep that in mind.  The ground cover is wood chips just like at Hunter Park.  My kids love the slides here.  The down side for this park is the lack of swings which are my kid’s current favorite park attraction.

This park does have benches, picnic tables, a pavilion, trash cans, doggie doodie bags, is close to 4 Pokestops, plenty of room to throw a frisbee around, and has access to a bathroom as long as the library is open.  Need a Slurpee?  7-Eleven is across the street.  *Pro tip* Download the 7-Eleven app so you can get every 7th drink free. You’re welcome.

With a great location and a lot of parking this is a great park that you could easily speed a lot of time at.   I hope you enjoy it as much as we have!
